The Skyhawks have had a strong season with 2 losses coming to the top ranked Elite and Rams, however the Skyhawls have hung tough with both teams, this week they will be the recipient of a forfeit victory due to the Falcons ceasing operations for the remainder of the season. With victories over both teams the Pirates only need to stay focused and not get too far ahead of themselves as they start looking toward the South Division championship game at the Elite.
With the Falcons ceasing operations a change to the play off format has come up, the Heat and Spartans are now in a race for the final play off spot. Both teams are winless coming into week 7 but the two team will play each other in week 9 with the winner most liking heading to the play offs to face the Southeast Pirates out of San Diego.
